Hey, I'm Zack Golub — a media and communications professional who genuinely loves the craft of telling stories through video and branded content.
I studied at Elon University, where I got to explore pretty much every corner of the media world — from production and editing to research, strategy, and everything in between. That range ended up shaping the way I approach creative work. I don't just think about how something looks; I think about why it works, who it's for, and what it's trying to do.
Video has always been at the center of what I do. There's something about the combination of visuals, sound, pacing, and story that I find endlessly interesting to get right. Whether it's a short-form social clip or a longer branded piece, I care a lot about the details — the kind of details that most people won't consciously notice, but that make the difference between content that scrolls past and content that actually sticks.
Branded content is really where I've found my footing. I love working with brands to figure out what makes them unique and then finding creative ways to bring that to life on screen. It's part strategy, part storytelling, and a lot of listening — understanding what a brand stands for before putting anything in front of a camera. That process is something I genuinely enjoy, and I think it shows in the work.
On top of the creative side, I also have a background in media analytics and audience research. I've worked on projects that use data to understand how content performs, how audiences behave, and what actually drives engagement. If you're curious about that side of things, head over to the Other Works section — there's some cool stuff there.
At the end of the day, I want to make work that people actually connect with. If that sounds like something you're looking for, I'd love to chat.
